DESCRIPTION:

Corrosion control in cooling water systems is a significant challenge for steel producers, as this phenomenon can often render equipment unreliable or inoperable if left unchecked. This can lead to increased maintenance, unplanned downtime and creeping operating costs. Moreover, inefficient cooling can also impact product quality.

During this webinar, we will explore corrosion control strategies in water systems across various areas of modern steelmaking operations. Drawing on decades of experience from our domain experts, we will examine the types of corrosion commonly observed and share the evolution of our operational and treatment strategies to enhance asset protection and ensure operational reliability in steel mills.
